Who are we
Established in 2006, AJURIS, Advocates & Corporate Counsel is a full-service law firm having sixteen (16) lawyers across its three offices in Islamabad, Lahore and Multan. Our goal is to be a ‘one-stop shop’ for our worthy clients and we aim to provide top-notch services in all spheres of corporate and commercial law.
Our team
Our commercial and corporate litigators are trained to represent national and multi-national companies in a broad range of matters, including complex contract, bankruptcy, financial services, insurance, corporate, real estate and competition litigation. We offer the most thorough, effective and efficient approach to every business need. The practice is closely integrated with our intellectual property group, as well as our appellate, environmental, government contracts and white-collar crime litigation practices.
We have an excellent team handling competition practice that advises and represents clients on the full range of issues arising out of local as well as global transactions and any potential matters relating to cartelization, abuse of dominant position and unfair trade practices. We take pride in boasting the right kind of resources to offer best possible advice on obtaining merger approvals from the relevant authorities.
What we do
We have a bankruptcy and restructuring practice built on broad-based experience, creativity, efficiency and the desire to advance client interests in the most complex and sophisticated transactions, regularly representing a wide range of clients in both formal bankruptcies and out-of-court restructurings of financially troubled companies, and formulating strategies on the myriad insolvency, creditors’ rights and commercial law issues that arise in complex corporate and real estate acquisitions, divestitures and financings.
We have represented clients in major patent and other intellectual property litigations, as well as in connection with acquisitions, divestitures, development, exploitation, procurement, alliance, outsourcing, licensing, and similar agreements involving rights in intellectual property.
Our tax practice aims at advising clients in virtually all areas of tax law in connection with corporate transactions; a variety of financings, including those in both private equity offerings and public capital markets; real estate transactions, bankruptcy and restructuring matters; international tax planning matters; tax controversies; and individual tax planning.
